The quiet moments spent together as I rock our sweet baby to sleep, her infectious smile, and her adorable laugh never fail to bring a smile to my face.
I want the best for my daughter. I want to keep her safe. I want to keep her healthy. I want to keep her happy. Her pain is my pain, her joy is my joy.
There is a deep connection that is shared between a mother and a child. It is unlike any other relationship.
I know one day she will grow up and she will come to know that the world is not all good. I worry far too much.... but then again, I always have. My husband reminds me often that the best we can do is love her and guide her and let her know that she will always be safe in our arms.
Mommy and daddy love you baby girl!

This song says it all

Your baby looks adorable!!!
ReplyDeleteAnd I love that song!!
She is such a lucky little girl to be loved by wonderful parents like the two of you. Even when she's grown up, she'll always know she's safe in your arms.
ReplyDeleteAw LOVE this post - seriously! I cannot imagine Dom as a teenager, excuse my french, but it scares the hell out of me. He will always be my precious, innocent, baby boy.
ReplyDeleteYou sound like such an amazing mommy. :) She is so precious!
ReplyDeleteAwww Juliette looks more gorgeous every time I see her. She looks like a little angel!
ReplyDeleteI'm soo glad that you liked the song. When I heard it I immediately thought of you and Juliette. ;)
my son saw a picture of me as a blonde & asked why my hair is darker now - i recently went back to being a brunette. i asked him which he liked better, and he told me he liked me any way. he got a big hug for that one :)
ReplyDeleteand i am still amazed that he's a little person, part of me and his dad. we have our trying moments, as all families do :) but it's all about love!
Merry Christmas, my sweet friend. I am so sorry that I have been so terrible at keeping in touch! Life with two children and a small monogramming business is INSANE but very happy! I hope this blessed season is feeling your heart with many memories. There is only one first Christmas ;-)
ReplyDeleteLots of love from the deep south,
Angel
