While baby napped, my husband and I decorated the tree, put lights on the railings and bushes outside, and hung our stockings from the mantel. When sleeping beauty awoke, we sat in our reading chairs sipping hot tea while listening to Christmas carols on the radio.
Juliette was in awe of the blinking lights and glittery ornaments that hung from the branches. I am so excited to start creating our own family traditions. All of "Baby's Firsts" are exciting but there is something about baby's first Christmas that warms me heart and soul.
While the decorations are certainly enjoyable, I am most looking forward to teaching Juliette about the true meaning of Christmas. Raising Juliette to love Christ and to know Him as her savior is something that I am truly looking forward to!
Happy Monday. Much love and God bless.

So cute! I'm sure she is going to love Christmas and all it stands for. I'm still curious to see if my little one will arrive in time for Christmas.
